ZOHA's Challenges:

When Zoha joined Rise, she was brimming with passion but lacked career direction, the reflective skills to make informed decisions about her future, an awareness of what it takes to gain admission to a top university, and work-life balance. 

We tackled each of these growth areas as a team with Zoha, introducing her to practical advice, field-specific advice, and reflective exercises that helped her focus her energy to identify and pursue the things most important to her!

Kenta's Challenges:

When Kenta joined Rise, he had an open-minded attitude and was ready to self-identify the areas he wanted to work on. He wanted to improve his test scores, work on time management, and focus in on classes that he was struggling with, such as Japanese.

Over the course of Rise, his Rise team and he worked on goal-setting methods to help Kenta follow through on his study plans and academic aspirations, while discussing various tools for how to manage his time. They also brainstormed ideas for future majors and careers so Kenta could begin working toward his dreams.

Quynh Anh's Challenges:

When Quyn Anh joined Rise, she struggled to manage the stress caused by her school workload and was dealing with procrastination issues. She was certain of her interest for painting and the visual arts in general, but lacked career aspirations.

Quynh Anh was also unaware of extracurricular opportunities offered at her school and thus was mostly involved with basketball and art lessons only.
